Quality Engineer (F/M/N)

Job description
  • Conducts investigations into non-conformances, including accidents, incidents, and technical warranty occurrences; performs root cause analysis, supports implementation of corrective actions, and participates in hazard identification
  • Develops and coordinates spot checks across the organization, driving both the quantity and quality of spot checks and supporting the reduction of repetitive findings in cooperation with responsible leaders
  • Continuously improve quality and safety levels
  • Promotes safety management system in the organization
  • Liaises with Customer Representatives regarding quality issues, audits, and inquiries
  • Develops and maintains company processes and the process management system
  • Cooperates with other teams to identify safety issues and supports risk assessment and mitigation activities relevant to products
  • Liaises with internal auditors to ensure process compliance with applicable requirements, including aviation regulations, ISO standards, local legal requirements, and customer requirements
  • Participates in daily production meetings to support quality system topics, customer requirements, and lessons learned
  • Develops and delivers training for other team members on quality management concepts, processes, and lessons learned
  • Prepares quality reports, including technical reports, quality trends, and KPI tracking; analyzes and evaluates data from all relevant quality sources
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • University degree in a technical field, quality management, or an equivalent discipline
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality management system concepts, such as ISO 9001, quality improvement tools and techniques
  • Practical experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, and others
  • Experience with PFMEA and Control Plan would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry and aviation regulations in accordance with EASA Part 145 would be an advantage
  • Fluent business English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications; knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
  • Technical mindset with a strong focus on maintaining high-quality output
