Job description
- Plan, organize and execute all customs related activities.
- Prepare and maintain customs documentation records.
- Classify products according to EU/Poland guidelines/rules.
- Act as interface to customs office and/or broker, or even be able to deal with full process on your own.
- Monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments and process.
- Support the continuous development of existing customs activities and help to develop customs processes.
- Cooperate with other teams in the company.
Requirements
- Proven (min. 2 years) experience in Customs and Trade affairs.
- Customs Broker license will be advantage.
- Bachelor degree, preferably in logistics/international trade or foreign trade will be advantage.
- Good language skills in Polish and English (must have).
- Goods Skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products.
- Good sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Knowledge of other logistics processes (purchasing, transport) will be advantage.
- Very good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work in stressful situations and under time pressure.
- Ability to work in a Matrix organization like GE Aerospace (direct manager and dotted line manager).
- Willingness to participate in trainings and projects.
