Customs Specialist

XEOS is a key player in a global network of Aircraft Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services.

 

Job description

• Plan, organize and execute all customs related activities.  
• Prepare and maintain customs documentation records. 
• Classify products according to EU/Poland guidelines/rules. 
• Act as interface to customs office and/or broker, or even be able to deal with full process on your own. 
• Monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments and process. 
• Support the continuous development of existing customs activities and help to develop customs processes. 
• Cooperate with other teams in the company.

Requirements

• Proven (min. 2 years) experience in Customs and Trade affairs. 
• Customs Broker license will be advantage.
• Bachelor degree, preferably in logistics/international trade or foreign trade will be advantage.
• Good language skills in Polish and English (must have). 
• Goods Skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products. 
• Good sense of responsibility and initiative. 
• Knowledge of other logistics processes (purchasing, transport) will be advantage.
• Very good communication skills and the ability to work in a team. 
• Ability to work in stressful situations and under time pressure. 
• Ability to work in a Matrix organization like GE Aerospace (direct manager and dotted line manager).
• Willingness to participate in trainings and projects.
