Material Handling Specialist

Job description

• Performs receiving inspections of materials and accompanying documentation, physically inspects materials, studies certificates and shipping documents, takes decisions on acceptance based on EASA part 145 regulations.
• Labels and tags materials, separates appropriate material storage locations according to ownership, material type, and custom requirements. - exception -  parts coming back from repairs, Life-limited parts, critical components according to Critical components for incoming inspection list.
• Ensures timely picking, SAP issuing and physical material delivery of all open material requests from warehouses to production.
• Prepares materials, tools and equipment for outgoing shipments, packs (ordering or performing DGR packaging, if necessary), posts delivery notes, performs outgoing inspections (material and document inspections).
• Performs and controls process of material scrapping / mutilation
• Performs inventory counts.
• Handles dangerous goods, knowing MSDS and relevant regulations.
• Performs internal logistics movements
• Loads and unloads shipments.

Requirements

• Graduated from Secondary School / Technical School
• Successfully completed apprenticeship or vocational training for a relevant technical profession or Technical / Aviation background, preferable university degree or
• Professional experience in warehouse logistics of minimum 3 years              
• English level B2
• Technical aviation English: ability to understand, interpret and communicate
• Experience in proactive profession is beneficial
• Forklift licence must have
• Crane licence nice to have
