Job description
  • Disassembly and assembly of jet engines into modules and piece parts using manual and also special tooling in close relation to engine manual, other technical documentation, customer and regulatory requirements 
  • Perform inspection of jet engine parts to ensure they are serviceable or required repair or scrap 
  • Work in accordance with the Part-145 requirements
  • Replace or repair worn or damaged components using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment 
  • Performing inspections and quality control of the work performed
  • Regular inspection of tooling and equipment at the workplace 
  • Document and record of performed works in accordance with approved procedures 
  • Take ownership of improving working area in accordance with the lean principles of flow, pull and Takt
  • Work in accordance with all Technical, Quality and SMS requirements (internal and external)
Requirements
  • Proven professional experience in aviation
  • Willingness to work a shift pattern
  • Good knowledge of the English language (B1 level)
  • Familiarity with Part-145 requirements
  • Ability to work according to engine manual and other technical documentation and internal processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings 
  • Ability to check the assembly using both standard and specialist measuring tools  
  • Willingness to go for on the job training (6 weeks abroad)
  • Preferred knowledge of MS office
  • Vocational school or high school
