Job description

At XEOS we require Trainee Aircraft Engine Technician’s where you will join a full time training course and learn how to be a qualified Technician on LEAP-1B aircraft engines your responsibilities will include:

  • Complete a 15 months of training working as an Trainee Aircraft Engine Technician

 

After completing the course, you will have the necessary skills to:

  • Disassemble and assemble LEAP-1B aircraft engines into modules and piece parts using manual and also special tooling in close relation to our customers workscopes , approved technical documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform inspection of aircraft engine parts to ensure they are serviceable or required repair or scrap modification or rework.
  • Work in accordance with the EASA Part-145 requirements and other regulatory agencies.
  • Replace or repair worn or damaged engine components using hand tools, gauges, test equipment and complex machines.
  • Perform inspections and quality control of the work performed.
  • Execute regular inspection of tools and equipment.
  • Document and record workperformed in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Take ownership of improving working areas in accordance with the lean principles of flow, pull and takt.
  • Work in accordance with all Technical, Quality and Safety Management System requirements (internal and external).
  • Learn how to use SAP, the XEOS records system.
Requirements
  • Desirable professional experience (technical / manual skills)
  • Willingness to work a shift pattern (if required)
  • Good knowledge of the English language (B1 level)
  • Willingness to go for on the job training (8 weeks abroad)
  • Preferred knowledge of MS office
  • Vocational school or high school
