Aircraft Engine Technician (Waterjet)

Job description

• Operating a specialized machine for removing protective coatings
• Operating and programing of ABB industrial robots
• Preparation of test samples and participation in creation of material reports
• Cooperation with Laboratory technicians
• Performing of general visual inspection of jet engine parts before the process
• Working in close cooperation with Engineering Team
• Working in accordance with the EASA PART-145
• Performing daily inspection of High-Pressure Water Jet machine in accordance with TPM (Total Production Maintenance)
• Performing inspection and quality control of the work performed in accordance with maintenance data
• Regular inspection of tooling and equipment condition at the workplace
• Document and record of performed works in accordance with maintenance data and SAP task list
• Take ownership of improving working area in accordance with Lean principles of flow , pull and Takt
• Working in accordance with all Technical, Quality and SMS requirements (internal and external)

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in aviation it will be advance.
• Professional experience in machine operation – e.g. Water Cutting machine, High Pressure Water Jets machines, CNC machine, etc.
• Willingness to work in a shift pattern
• Good knowledge of the English language (B1)
• Ability to work in accordance with engine manual and other maintenance data
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to check the check condition of engine/module/components
• Willingness to go for on the job training (GE facilities abroad)
• Basic knowledge of MS office
